Evaluation: How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages part 4
To evaluate my work I used Blogger to record my activities and to evaluate them. I was able to decide on the level of my performance as a team member and I was able to look up at my original plans and see how they differ from the new ones. This way I could evalutate how my music video has changed after the last few months.

During construction on the music video we used Final Cut to edit the music video. This proved to be very helpful as due to the number of different layers we were able to make the editing more flexable and it allowed us to make the music video flow more easily.

After we did some researched we began to construct our music video. We use a camera and a tripod to film the music video, at one point attempting to use a figrig to try and do some tracking and dolly shots. However the camera was still shaky so we didn't use these clips.

In early production me and my group decided to use Youtube as a way of finding out what the conventions of a music video were. Although we are so used to seeing them we don't think about what we see. So we looked at different music videos online. One particular one we looked at was the music video to the song we were using.

Evaluation: What have you learned from your audience feedback part 2
Once the chorus sections were filmed and edited we saw what they meant. The inclusion of the other singer made the music video feel more complete and in fact a lot more conventional. Whenever two singers do a song together chances are both will appear in the music video. This helped us keep a sense of realism to our music video. So we learnt that filming both artists can make a big difference.
