For my DVD Cover I tried to keep to the traditional setting of a Hip Hop/Rap artist and used a Urban setting. I plan to do the image by a bridge to keep in the theme of borders and split images that I had in the Hold On music video as I plan to have a fence behind the bridge steps so there is more lines as well as a small barrier along the road.
In the draft I have Schoolboy in a tracksuit but I feel that because his title is Schoolboy that he should be in a school uniform of some sort.
I would post an image of the kind of urban setting you had in mind. Just post up a photograph and explain what you would intend the connotation to be - and how this imagery would be likely to appeal to you target audience.
