Evaluation: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products part 1

My Music Video uses the concept of narrative, using the song tell the story. In some music videos the artist is usually part of the storyline within the music video, however I decided that the artist should instead be performing the song and the storyline be happening elsewhere.
I felt like this developed the concept of narrative in a music video as it allows the consumers to have two different halves of the music video, the artist and the story, giving them more to watch and to become emotionally involved in.
Also I studied the representation of the artist of several music videos. They tend to be represented as powerful and always having flash cars so for the artist of my music video I decided that he should look flash and impressive.
