So we brainstormed our ideas, trying to find a way to show this story. We came to the conclusion that it should start from the start of the day, to the end, similar to the music video to Getto Gospel by the deceased rapper 2 Pac.
So we began to storyboard, coming to the conclusion that there should be a form of parrell between the two characters, similar to the music video Sugar Water that we looked at last year before planning our video.
The reason for this is that we can show the differences of the two characters as well as the similarties (the two getting out of bed in a similar fashion but on different sides of the bed, showing some form of similarity whilst keeping the parrell between the two).
We decided we wanted to use a series of various shot types, mostly close ups on Lewis, something we did not have in the original music video and less long shots.

ReplyDeleteAgain... you do not include a storyboard or even sketches of ideas for shots here - so it is hard for anyone trying to assess you to see the process you went through to arrive at ideas. You need this to reach a Lev 3 Lee.
